MARY WANNA SMOKE

She's got roach-clip lips,
And visine eyeballs!
Drives a quadraphonic love bug,
With psychedelic side-walls!

(CHORUS)
Mary wanna smoke, wanna smoke, Mary wanna!
Grow it, Pluck it, Roll it, Suck it!
Mary wanna smoke, wanna smoke, Mary wanna!
Grow it, Pluck it, Roll it, Suck it!
...Mary wanna smoke!!!

She's got bong-water breath,
And munchie-mouth mumbles!
Wears trippy hippie boots,
With bell-bottom ruffles!

(REPEAT CHORUS)

She wears a tie-died headband,
With peace signs & pot leaves!
Has a trippy hippie pad,
Full of lava lamps and love beads!

Judges Comments:

These lyrics are excellent! From the phrasing to the choice of words. This is a winner. It is quintessential retro and has the sort of rhythm and beat that could make it the kind of song you find yourself singing in the car. I hear a strong and clear male vocal with a full accompanying rhythm guitar (probably 12 string). A lively melodic bass wondering all through the background would sound great. This one's got a medium to faster beat that just keeps you moving. Again, it's written as well as (or better than) any song out there!! This song does not advocate smoking at all! Rather, it is an observation.

That is the way William Cook , please send us some more, please.
