One More Chance

1st Verse
At the club the other night
People packed wall to wall
Someone spilled his drink on me
But I didn't care at all
I had my eye on you
Like you were the only man around
I've seen the way you move
Like you know how to get down

Chorus
One more chance
And I'll let you know
I'm the only real woman here
Not like these silly ho's
One more chance
To tell me your name
You're the only real man I see
And I'm liking your game

2nd Verse
Monday morning back at work
Your face still in my head
I can't concentrate no more
Wanna see you instead
Wish I had made a move
But I was so intimidated
I ain't never been shy
I don't know why I waited

Bridge
It really ain't a thang
But I gotta know your name
Skin like caramel
I want to touch you everywhere
Tossing and turning
All night long
I think you could put me at ease
And I don't think I'm wrong

Judges Comments:

Missed opportunity at love is one of the common themes of  "the blues". With any good blues song, it is not only good music or what you're saying, but how you're saying it. I like these lyrics. At first glance they might seem the usual. However, if you take a closer look at the phrasing and the key words, you'll start to get a feel for how well these lyrics could go with the music. I hear a strong low female voice. I think a slow tempo would be perfect. Good single lead guitar would go along way towards complementing the vocals. Alright!

Please, Holly, send us some more!
