Daisy's Is The Place

If you ever get to Carlisle
If you ever make that drive
When you reach the traffic circle
Just look over to one side

And there's Daisy's ...

Chorus:
It's the place to be
There's no better spot
To eat or rest
Daisy's is for you and me

Now it's just a little store
But it's not hard to find
Each day they greet you with a smile
And they're always very kind

There at Daisy's ...
Chorus:

The smell of baking goodies
And the coffee brewing fresh
Will bring your mouth to water
There to satisfy your wish

Here at Daisy's ...
Chorus:

Each morning as I go to work
My day begins anew
I stop at Daisy's for a treat
And tomorrow, so should you

See you at Daisy's ...
Chorus:

Judges Comments:

The last eatery song I can recall is Arlo Guthrie's Alice's Restaurant. Daisy's is a nice change of pace. It is well constructed with nice form and flow. These lyrics lend themselves to be set to music. ( Anyone getting hungry? )

That's a good one SAM, now send us some more.
