Being here I've never been better
Being here I've never felt worse
Flying above only to crash below
Heaven's blessed me with a curse

I am floating atop the water
I am six feet underground
Headed east just to get to the west
The devil's on the pitchers mound

I love it so much I hate it
I'm drowning in the sea
Looking around for nothing to turn to
Please... Rescue me!
Rescue me!

I'm willing to give it all for nothing
Why bothe to give it a shot
Pleasure seems hardly worth the seeking
When pain is all I've got

I don't know the answer to life's equation
I know what seeds I am sewing
I follow the written map for this world
Where the hell am I going

I love it so much I hate it
I'm drowning in the sea
Looking around for nothing to turn to
Please... Rescue me!
Rescue me!

Judges Comments:

Thanks, Susan, for a song containing not a single overused cliché! And, no, your superior antonymal word-play does not lead me to believe you bi-polar. If you are as confused as your lyrics so elegantly illustrate,  and if said confusion manifests in lyrics like these, then (forgive me for being selfish) I hope that you do not get rescued. Susan, a song of this caliber deserves a title. I like this song, but not so much that I hate it.  :-)

Well done, Susan,  please send another!
