WHAT WE JUDGE
Our multi-tiered judging system will be judging songwriters equally on
originality, flow, emotion, hooks,
musicability, form, content and expression.
HOW TO ENTER Send in the following for each
entry:
1. Completed Entry

be original.
2. Contestant may enter as many songs as he/she wished,
however each song must have its own entry form and fee.
3. Each song submitted must
be the contestant's ORIGINAL
work.
4. Submit
your lyrics on-line
at www.LyricsReview.com
using the 'submit your lyrics' link on the front
page. Select your category. The words "Songwriting Entry" MUST
appear in the 'Background' section. Then enter your song title and lyrics
in the 'Lyrics' box. Use your full name and e-mail address as they appear
on the Entry Form.
Select 'submit'.
5. Check or money-order payable to LyricsReview.com
Song Contest for $10 (U.S.) for each entry submitted.
Entry fee is non-refundable.
6. Contestant's full name and address, e-mail address,
and song title must appear on each
item submitted.
7. Contest deadline is February
29th, 2000.
OPEN TO all countries and to residents of the U.S., Canada, Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom earning an average of less than $3,000 per year in music royalties since 1994. Employees of LyricsReview.com, its affiliates, subsidiaries, and their immediate families are not eligible. All U.S. federal, state and local laws and provincial (Canadian) laws apply. Void where prohibited by law. All prizes will be awarded.
WINNERS will be selected on or about March 31th, 2000, by a panel of LRc judges whose decisions in all matters pertaining to the contest are final. No duplicate winners in a single category. Winners will be notified by e-mail and/or mail. Division of prizes among co-writers is the responsibility of winners; prizes will be awarded to the first name on the entry form. Prize acceptance constitutes permission (except where prohibited) to use winner's name for future publicity purposes without additional compensation. Taxes are winner's responsibility. LRc is not responsible for late, lost, damaged, misdirected, misappropriated, or postage-due entries. All federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. Foreign funds will not be accepted.
